The three-story, 110,000 square-foot facility features a special
exhibits gallery with world-class traveling exhibitions, 13 galleries
showcasing the Museum’s collections, a store, cafe, theater
and library. Education rooms serve as activity stations for weekend
visitors.

The Oklahoma Opry, for the last twenty-six years, has had performances
every Saturday night, 52 weeks out of the year, using a live band
with ten to twelve artists performing traditional and contemporary
country music and featuring gospel, blue grass, and classic fifties
music. Special programs throughout the year include our anniversary
show held in March, the awards show held in October, and a Christmas
show held in December. The main objective of the Oklahoma Opry is
to be a showcase for up and coming artists in the country music
industry, and to provide entertainment in a family atmosphere.
Paseo
District
NW 30th and Shartel
This little Spanish village with it's stucco building and clay
tile roofs is the home of Oklahoma City's artists' community. On
this little tree lined street you will find painters, potters, photographers,
writers, and actors. Within the two blocks of the Paseo you can
visit a stained glass works, a pottery studio, watch a painter at
work, see a performance of a children's theater group, have dinner,
and shop.
World

Headquarters for the World organization of China Painters, this
center contains a wonderful collection of hand-painted china from
all over the world, as well as a research library and classrooms
for china painting.
